@artists: feel free to selfvote, but keep in mind that it wont affect the final result. Welcome to the promised "samplepack compo"!
Your task is to download the samplepack provided below and create a track out of it. As you know everybody has a different view on samplepack compos - so if you are not happy with the compo, feel free to contact a #cbc member and we can arrange another compo with your help in the future :)
The prize will be a necta statue (yes, more on that later)
And here are the rules:

• Deadline 18.Feb.2012 23:59:00
• you can use all samples from the samplepack provided
• you can NOT use any other samples
• you are allowed to cut the samples
• you are not allowed to modify the samples in any other form (but you can of course convert them to other formats!
• playing samples backwards is allowed
• changing filter/volume/pitch envelopes in samples is allowed
• you can however use BASIC effect devices and automate them with lfos or whatever
  • reverb
  • delay
  • phaser
  • filter
  • distortion
  • compression
  • limiting
  • chorus
  • flanger
• you may add white noise
• you are not allowed to cheat..for example use a sample as wavetable for your oscillator ;)
• you are not allowed to use software or hardware synths
• max. songlength 10 minutes
• upload format .mp3
